Join us for an exciting workshop led by one of Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui's dancers, where you’ll explore the unique movement methodology that defines his work. Known for blending contemporary dance with elements of classical, cultural, and urban styles, Sidi Larbi creates fluid, expressive movements that push the boundaries of the human body. His work emphasizes collaboration, physical storytelling, and emotional depth, inviting dancers to connect with both their inner selves and the world around them. This workshop offers an opportunity to experience Sidi Larbi's approach to movement, focusing on the fluidity, precision, and vulnerability that characterize his groundbreaking choreographic style.

Open Call: Community Workshop with Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui's Dancers

We are excited to announce an open call for a unique community workshop led by one of Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui’s dancers. This workshop invites 30 dancers from diverse backgrounds—whether formally trained or self-taught—who have some years of professional or semi-professional experience in dance.

Join us for an inspiring afternoon of movement exploration, where you’ll dive into Sidi Larbi's dynamic methodology, blending various styles and techniques. The workshop is 15,00 euros and will take place on Saturday, January 11th, from 12:00 to 14:00 at Theater Rotterdam. Once you book the workshop the performance Vlaemsch in the evening is free of charges (but you need to make a reservation for it).
