Na een onvergetelijk seizoen van Dating the Unknown nodigen we je uit om opnieuw deze ervaring met iemand te delen bij de voorstelling BLKDOG. Tijdens de voorstelling krijgen jullie de kans elkaar beter te leren kennen. Over BLKDOG:
BLKDOG is een krachtige en aangrijpende ervaring waarin Botis op indringende wijze de uitdagingen van het ouder worden als artiest onder de loep neemt. De voorstelling, een fascinerende combinatie van hiphopdans en vrije expressie, nam het publiek mee in de innerlijke conflicten van een artiest die vasthoudt aan zijn jeugdigheid.
De show beleefde zijn première in 2019 in Sadler's Wells Theatre in Londen, waar het overweldigende reacties ontving. Dat jaar won Botis Seva een Olivier Award voor BLKDOG, waarmee hij de eerste hiphopchoreograaf was die deze prestigieuze Britse theaterprijs in ontvangst nam.
"Levendig en meeslepend", zo omschrijft men Botis' meesterlijke weergave van de strijd die artiesten ervaren wanneer ze ouder worden. De dreigende soundtrack, een resultaat van een samenwerking met Torben Lars Sylvest, wordt uitgevoerd door het gezelschap Far From The Norm. In BLKDOG verkennen de personages manieren om met tegenslagen om te gaan, in een eeuwige zoektocht naar acceptatie.

BLKDOG is a powerful and gripping experience in which Botis deeply examines the challenges of aging as an artist. The performance, a fascinating blend of hip-hop dance and free expression, immerses the audience into the inner conflicts of an artist clinging to his youthfulness.
