Openingstrack: Ann van den Broek
In Accusations : Walks & Fragments ontleedt Ann Van den Broek samen met de performers de minutieuze puzzel die Accusations is.
De voorstelling vertrok in 2017 vanuit het biografisch materiaal en het karakter van Van den Broek. De Walks manifesteren zich als een doorlopende processie die zich door de ruimte beweegt. Accusations : Walks & Fragments: Past / Present / Future trekt de toeschouwers én de performers mee in een kritische (zelf)reflectie, altijd onderweg naar een betere versie van zichzelf.
Tijdens de Openingstrack zal het een verrassing zijn welke van de drie Accusations het publiek te zien krijgt: Past, Present of Future.
De choreografieën van Ann Van den Broek ontstaan uit een mix van emotie en analyse. Rauw, expressief, filmisch, temperamentvol en realistisch. Met thema’s als onrust, strijd, dwangmatigheid en fanatisme wil Ann haar bezoekers raken en aanzetten tot nadenken. In iedere voorstelling zit ruimte voor twijfel en interpretatie bij de toeschouwer.

De Openingstrack, gecureerd door Alida Dors, is onderdeel van ACT: Art, Climate, Transition, een Europees samenwerkingsproject rond ecologie, klimaatverandering en sociale transitie. In een tijd van klimaatdegradatie, pandemieën, massale uitsterving en toenemende ongelijkheid bundelen we onze krachten in een project over hoop, waarbij we brede perspectieven verbinden met specifieke, gelokaliseerde mogelijkheden die we uitnodigen of eisen.

In Accusations: Walks & Fragments, Ann Van den Broek, together with the performers, dissects the meticulous puzzle that is Accusations.
In 2017, the performance was based on the biographical material and character of Van den Broek. The Walks manifest as a continuous procession moving through space. Accusations: Walks & Fragments: Past / Present / Future draws the audience and the performers along in a critical (self) reflection, always on the way to a better version of themselves.
During the Opening track it will be a surprise which of the three Accusations the audience will see: Past, Present or Future.
Ann Van den Broek's choreographies are the result of a mix of emotion and analysis. Raw, expressive, cinematic, temperamental and realistic. With themes such as unrest, struggle, compulsion and fanaticism, Ann wants to touch her visitors and encourage them to think. In every performance there is room for doubt and interpretation on the part of the spectator.
