'Every Day A New Ritual', dat is het devies van performance collectief Grande Loge. Master of Rituals Tjon Rockon is altijd op zoek naar nieuwe verhalen, nieuwe energie en het creëren van een spot voor cultureel rijk talent. Voor de performance Who am I, who are you? vroeg hij Josimar Gomes als centrale persoon in een korte, intense performance over de moeilijke tijd waarin wij nu leven.
Geïnspireerd door helden als Kendrick Lamar (''The blacker the berry, the sweeter the juice'') en de recente overleden Chadwick Boseman, is dit heftige, reinigende show, voor een intense pas op de plaats....

Stichting Grande Loge is producent van maatschappelijk geïnspireerde en innovatieve, hedendaagse voorstellingen voor een breed publiek en een broederzusterschap – brozilians – voor jongvolwassenen. Grande Loge biedt ruimte aan makers met een kunstvakopleiding én aan (urban) autodidacten. Het brengt populaire straatcultuur samen met meer klassieke vormen van kunst en cultuur en gebruikt de combinatie en de kracht van eigenheid en scholing om publieksgroepen en culturen te binden.

De Openingstrack, gecureerd door Alida Dors, is onderdeel van ACT: Art, Climate, Transition, een Europees samenwerkingsproject rond ecologie, klimaatverandering en sociale transitie. In een tijd van klimaatdegradatie, pandemieën, massale uitsterving en toenemende ongelijkheid bundelen we onze krachten in een project over hoop, waarbij we brede perspectieven verbinden met specifieke, gelokaliseerde mogelijkheden die we uitnodigen of eisen.

About Grande Loge
The Grande Loge Foundation is a producer of socially inspired and innovative, contemporary performances for a wide audience and a brother sisterhood - brozilians - for young adults. Grande Loge offers space to makers with an art training and to (urban) self-taught artists. It brings together popular street culture with more classical forms of art and culture and uses the combination and power of individuality and education to bind audiences and cultures.
