Theater Rotterdam <3 cinema. En als helemaal als het films zijn van spraakmakend talent van Rotterdamse bodem.
Daarom presenteren we vanaf dit seizoen, in samenwerking met Roffa Mon Amour, elke maand een korte film van een uitgesproken Rotterdamse filmmaker. De film is los te bezoeken in de hal en linkt altijd aan een voorstelling die te zien is in een van onze theaterzalen. Een mooie manier om je op één avond helemaal onder te dompelen in een thema, land of kunstvorm!

Voorafgaand aan de film gaan we in gesprek met iemand van voor of achter de camera en duiken we dieper in de thema’s en maakprocessen van de film. De film is daarna nog de hele avond te bekijken.

That is why, starting this season, we are collaborating with Roffa Mon Amour. We will present a short film every month, made by an outspoken Rotterdam filmmaker. The film can be viewed solo in the foyer and is always linked to a performance that can be seen in one of our theater halls that day. A great way to completely immerse yourself in a theme, country or art form, in one evening!
Discover the maker
Prior to the film, we will talk to someone who works in front of- or behind the scenes of the movie production, and we will delve deeper into the themes and production processes of the film. Afterwards, the film can be viewed all evening.
We try to add subtitles to all our movies. Check the page of the individual film to see if your film is subtitled.
