The art-punkers from NYC, BODEGA, are essentially cultural commentators who criticize modern society through music. Their energetic and sharp, fuzz-infused sound has caused many mosh pits and drenched countless armpits in deep layers of sweat. However, on their new album 'Our Brand Could Be Yr Life,' they reinvent themselves as a kind of indie-rock masterclass. With the same precision and catchy choruses as before, but in a new and fresh outfit.

However, their new album isn't entirely new. It's a remake of a double album from eight years ago that no one except the people in their hometown had heard before they called themselves BODEGA. In the years since, they have released no fewer than six albums that have been praised worldwide. With an almost chaotic, hyperactive, and incredibly danceable blend of art and post-punk, they flew around the world. But you don't even have to listen closely to hear the same infectious rhythms in the new music; they're there, ready to get your feet off the floor.

In samenwerking met Rotown presenteert Feeling Curious? BODEGA.  
 
De art-punkers uit NYC van BODEGA zijn in essentie culturele commentatoren, die de moderne samenleving bekritiseren via muziek. Hun energieke en scherpe, met fuzz doordrenkte geluid heeft vele moshpits veroorzaakt en talloze oksels ondergedompeld in diepe lagen zweet. Echter, op hun nieuwe album ‘Our Brand Could Be Yr Life’ regenereren ze zichzelf als een soort indie-rock masterclass. Met dezelfde nauwkeurigheid en catchy refreinen als voorheen, maar dan in een nieuwe en frisse outfit.

Hun nieuwe album is niet helemaal nieuw. Het is een remake van een dubbelalbum van acht jaar geleden dat niemand behalve de mensen in hun geboortestad had gehoord, voordat ze zichzelf BODEGA noemden. In de jaren daartussen hebben ze maar liefst zes albums uitgebracht die wereldwijd werden geprezen. Met een bijna chaotische, hyperactieve en ongelofelijk dansbare blend van art- en post-punk vlogen ze de wereld over. Maar je hoeft niet eens goed te luisteren om dezelfde aanstekelijke ritmes te horen in de nieuwe muziek; ze zijn er, en ze staan klaar om je voetjes van de vloer te gooien.
